Who are the Joy-Filled Wanderers?
We are a family that loves Jesus and time spent together. We try to fill our home with love, joy, and laughter. On any given day, you'll find me drinking coffee while planning our homeschool week or reading. Someone is always singing, mostly DJ. Books fill all the nooks and crannies in our house. Where there aren't books, there's Legos and playdoh. Rocks found on our adventures or drawings from one of the kiddos can be found in the open spaces.
Homeschooling was always a desire in our hearts. In 2020, we took the plunge and haven't looked back. Learning is a life-long process, and I am loving learning right alongside our children.
Over the last 2 years, we've fallen in love with nature and spending time outdoors. God's creation welcomes us each and every time we walk under the sign above our back door beckoning us to adventure. We are still slowly learning what it is to adventure but are finding joy in all the places we visit-even in our backyard.

Seriously, this is a place I plan to document our adventures. We are still at the early stages of learning to explore and learn more about nature, and I want to journal those experiences here. I would love to talk to you about your adventures and experiences, and I hope to encourage others to take simple steps to getting outside.
You might also see some homeschool posts about our day to day life. I’ll also be posting book reviews from time to time, as that is my other favorite pastime.
And coffee. You may see a lot of coffee.
Take time to wander, friends. Slow down and really take it in. It just may fill your soul with joy.
